Letter from the President

Hi!My name is Sabina De Crescentiis and I am the President of Alpha Omicron Pi at Western University. I am honoured to have been elected and to have this opportunity to be able to lead this outstanding group of women. I joined the Iota Chi chapter in my second year of university, and I wish I would have joined sooner! Seeing Sarah operate as elected as President in 2023, I was so inspired by her leadership and ability to be kind before all else. AOII has done so much for me; it has given me so many opportunities of leadership, meeting new people and making long lasting friendships. The women in this chapter are one of the most remarkable group of women I have had the pleasure of knowing. They are courageous, kind, and each and every one of them are not afraid to be themselves. I think this empowers us to achieve great things together, whether it be philanthropically, academically, or personally.To join Alpha Omicron Pi is to gain a sisterhood for life and make memories that will last a lifetime. I will forever be grateful for what AOII has done for me, others, and the community itself. Some of my favourite highlights have been Bid day, Big/Little reveal and Alpha Omicrown that we plan every year. I could not ask for a better group of girls to support me through my presidency as I also support and encourage them to be the best versions of themselves.
